SH3: Cabinet RFID access system

Independent RFID cabinet access control system. User database configurable over the Web.

HWg-SH3 is an autonomous RFID cabinet access control system. The database of authorized tags/cards can be managed remotely over the Web.

HWg-SH3 uses a local RFID reader and controls the front and rear doors of a cabinet.

The unit can be used as a stand-alone offline solution independent on any software. HWg-SH3 can be also used in online mode with access authorization against the HWg-DCD application.

  • Configuration and opening of doors over the Web
  • RFID tag database can be edited over the Web
  • A door contact for detecting the state of the door (open/closed) can be connected
  • Uses a local RFID reader (127 kHz / 13.5 MHz)
  • Detects entry with a key / forced entry
  • Standalone operation - Door can be opened with: RFID tag/card, key, Web interface
  • Online with DCD - Door can be opened with: SMS access code, DCD admin interface, LAN RFID terminal (e.g. located near the entrance to the room)

SH3 is typically used in a remote cabinet, rack or box, which may be accessed by a few authorized users only. Authorized users can be changed remotely over the Web interface.
SH3 has the advantage of easy installation and internal tag database.

Quick start package for 19" cabinet access control system. Can be used as standalone access system. The RFID cards database stored in the HWg-SH3. Card management over web interface.
